Ed Danberg is an accomplished attorney in Delaware with experience as a private practice and public attorney rep
resenting clients in real estate acquisitions and litigation, including alleged substantive due process violations.  His in depth experience includes three years representing the Delaware Department of Transportation on real estate acquisitions and eminent domain actions. Ed worked for twelve years representing New Castle County, overseeing public bid offerings and defending awards, including review and drafting of contracts of all types. He has decades of experience making and responding to Freedom of Information Act requests. Ed’s background includes appellate briefing in the Federal Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States and all Delaware Courts.

Ed is skilled in handling all facets of large and complex cases, as part of a litigation team, individually and overseeing outside counsel.  He is able to look at legal issues from multiple angles and achieve favorable outcomes.  Ed is well versed in drafting and interpreting statutes, laws, and policies; providing effective recommendations; and propounding public policy changes.   Ed has represented governmentals and private clients in a wide variety of matters including litigation, real estate, intellectual property, and government legislation. Ed has served as Special Counsel to New Castle County Council providing legal advice, drafting proposed legislation, and responding to Freedom of Information requests, and as Special Counsel to the City of Wilmington, Department of Finance providing collection litigation services.
